Olivia L. Baylor, LCPC
CBC · CAMS-II · Certified MHFA Instructor · RYT-200
Built by a clinician still in the room.
Olivia L. Baylor is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of My Mental Health University® — a continuing education provider and a Maryland State-Approved Domestic Violence Continuing Education Sponsor. She is also the Owner and Clinical Supervisor of a multi-state clinical practice licensed across seven states.
For more than ten years, Olivia has asked the same question: what does it look like when clinicians, clergy, coaches, and couples receive the specific care their real lives require? My Mental Health University® is one answer to that question. The Certified Pre-Marital Specialist™ (CPMS™) credential is another. So is the Premarital Counseling Directory, and the two-volume workbook launching this September.
Olivia holds eight national professional certifications and attended training in EMDR, Brainspotting, Child Investigative Interviewing, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and culturally responsive clinical assessment for immigration evaluations. She has delivered training to schools, healthcare organizations, behavioral health agencies, and community partners across Maryland — including engagements with Prince George's County — and has trained more than 1,000 clinicians nationally through intensive trainings, where her work on cultural competence and supporting newcomer and immigrant communities earned a formal letter of recommendation.
She currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert and Item Writer for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) Certification Examination. Her clinical specialties include premarital counseling, adolescent and family mental health, domestic violence response, and clinician continuing education.
Eight certifications. Seven states. One standard.
